    Who needs care — your parent, your child or yourself. The days and hours, the help that actually matters — mobility, memory, medication, a newborn's nights, plain company — the languages spoken at home, how far is too far, and your budget.

  2. See everyone who fits, ranked

    Each morning, Care suggests the caregiver who fits you best, when there is one. People shows the rest, best fit first, each with the reason they were chosen.

  3. Read the reasons

    Every caregiver arrives in their own words, with the reasons they were chosen in plain language. What they told Kalvri is labelled as theirs, because Kalvri verifies none of it.

  4. Talk, agree, pay directly

    Invite someone to talk; when they say yes too, the conversation opens. Ask for a few hours, a day, weeks, or the same hours every week, and Kalvri keeps the agreement. You pay your caregiver directly. Kalvri never sits in the middle of that.

How the matching works

We can name every reason. So we do.

Most apps rank people by something they will not show you. Kalvri works the other way round: what your family states decides who comes first, and the reasons a person fits are the thing you actually see.

What you need comes first

Your days and hours, your dates, the care, at least one of your languages, the distance and your budget. Everyone who meets all of it is ranked ahead of anyone who doesn't, and nobody who has said no to something you need is ever suggested.

Then fit decides the order

The best fits come first, and each person carries the reason they were chosen, in plain words. No score, no percentage.

Nobody buys a place

A membership opens conversations. It never moves anyone up the list, and neither does an invitation.

Never who someone is

Age, race, religion, national origin and the rest never enter the ranking. They are not weighted low — they are not in the code at all, and cannot be added by accident.

Set against what you will pay a caregiver over a year, the membership is immaterial. That is structural rather than generous: Kalvri takes nothing from the care, so it has no stake in whether the rate is high or low, and no reason to put a thumb on either side of it.

What is Kalvri?

An iPhone app that introduces families to professional caregivers. You say what care looks like, and Kalvri ranks every caregiver who fits and tells you why each one does. Each morning it suggests the one who fits best. It is matchmaking, not a directory.

Is Kalvri an agency?

No. Kalvri is a matching app. We introduce people. We do not employ, vet, verify, supervise or pay anyone, and we are not a party to whatever you agree with each other.

Does Kalvri run background checks?

No, and we say so on every match. A family can ask a caregiver, in the conversation, to share a background check they ordered on themselves from Checkr. Kalvri never runs one, never sees the result, and never shows a badge.

What does it cost?

Matching is free, and so are your first conversations. A Kalvri membership opens every conversation after that: $79.99 a year with a 3-day free trial for new members, or $9.99 a week. Caregivers never pay. What a family pays a caregiver is separate, and none of it comes to us.

Does Kalvri take a cut of what I pay my caregiver?

No. There is no service fee and no commission anywhere in the app. You pay your caregiver directly, at the rate the two of you agree, and Kalvri never sees it.

How does the matching work?
