End User License Agreement
Your license to the Kalvri app, our zero-tolerance content policy, and the report and block tools.
Last updated July 4, 2026
1. License grant and restrictions
Kalvri grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the app on an Apple-branded device that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. This is a license, not a sale.
You may not copy (except as expressly permitted), modify, translate, or create derivative works of the app; distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense it; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the extent the law forbids that restriction; remove proprietary notices; circumvent security or access controls; or use the app in violation of the Terms of Service or applicable law.
2. 18 and older
You must be 18 or older to use the app. The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or post content; if we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it. Care recipients may be any age, but they are not users — a responsible adult enters their information, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Kalvri is a community that often forms around a vulnerable person in their home, so this policy is binding and strict. You agree that you will not create, upload, post, send, or make available any content, and will not engage in any conduct, that:
- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualizes any person;
- is harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, or abusive, or incites such acts;
- promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, or harm to others;
- is discriminatory against any person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected class;
- endangers, exploits, sexualizes, or solicits a minor, or attempts to contact anyone under 18;
- exploits, neglects, defrauds, or endangers an elderly, ill, disabled, or otherwise vulnerable adult;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, spam, or impersonates any person or misrepresents your identity, age, role, experience, or credentials;
- is illegal, infringes anyone's rights, or discloses another person's private information without authorization;
- contains malware or attempts to hack, disrupt, scrape, or circumvent the app or its safety features (including evading a block).
You are solely responsible for your content and conduct. We reserve the right — and have the means — to remove any content and to restrict, suspend, or permanently remove any user who violates this policy, with or without notice.
4. Content moderation and filtering
- Uploaded photos and intro videos are screened before they become visible to others — media stays invisible until it passes screening, and screening failures stay pending rather than being approved by default.
- Messages that appear to share off-platform contact or payment intent are flagged as a safety signal and a gentle reminder — the signal supports moderation and never silently blocks or edits your message.
- Reported and high-severity content receives human review, with escalation for serious safety reports.
5. Report and block, and our 24-hour commitment
You can report objectionable content or an abusive user in a tap, from profiles, content, and conversations — reporting is private, and the reported user is not told who reported them. You can also block anyone: after a block there is no further matching or messaging and you become mutually invisible; the blocked user is not notified.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 — Kalvri is not an emergency service.
6. Not vetted, and no money custody
Kalvri does not vet, screen, background-check, endorse, employ, or supervise any user; trust signals are informational only, and the hiring decision and all diligence belong to the family. Kalvri never holds the money paid for care. The only recurring charge Kalvri itself collects is the optional family membership via Apple In-App Purchase (see the Terms of Service), which auto-renews until cancelled in your Apple ID settings; App Store refunds are handled by Apple.
7. Apple-specific terms
This EULA is between you and Kalvri only, not Apple, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary with the right to enforce it. Kalvri, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, and support; Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support. To the extent any warranty is not disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the app's purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims are Kalvri's responsibility. Kalvri, not Apple, is responsible for addressing product-liability, regulatory, consumer-protection, and intellectual-property claims relating to the app. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited- or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms (such as Apple's Media Services Terms) when using the app.
8. Termination, disclaimers, and contact
This EULA is effective until terminated, and your rights end automatically if you fail to comply with it; you may terminate it by deleting the app and your account. The app is provided as-is; the disclaimers, assumption of risk, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms of Service apply to this EULA and survive termination.
