Caregiver Applicant Privacy Notice

What happens to a caregiver's application: what we ask, where it goes, and how long we keep it.

Effective September 4, 2026 · Last updated October 10, 2026

1. Who this is for

You are reading this because you are applying to be a caregiver on Kalvri, which is run by Kalvri LLC (4649 Asbury View Dr, Apt 104, Tampa, FL 33619; privacy@kalvri.com). This notice tells you, before you type anything, what happens to what you write. It sits beside our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy), which covers everything else. Caregivers can also join by creating a profile in the Kalvri app; this application is a separate route that Kalvri offers to some caregivers.

2. What we ask, and what we deliberately do not

The application has forty-two questions in nine sections — the first is your consent to this notice — and takes about fifteen minutes:

  • whether you are 18 or older and legally authorised to work in the United States;
  • your name, email and phone number, and the city you work in;
  • the care work you do, your training and the situations you have handled;
  • six short scenario questions and four written answers about how you work;
  • your standing: whether you appear on any abuse, neglect or exclusion registry, whether any licence of yours has been disciplined, and whether you have been dismissed over a client's wellbeing;
  • references — people who can speak to your work.

We do not ask about your religion, and we do not ask for a conviction history. Both absences are deliberate, and an automated test refuses to build the form if either question ever appears.

3. Where your answers go

  • Google stores your answers in the form's response sheet, as our service provider.
  • A script emails the whole application to the Google mailbox Kalvri uses for applications, with the reply-to set to you.
  • A person reads every application. Nothing is scored and nothing is decided automatically. We aim to write back, either way, within about a week.
  • Your application is not stored in the Kalvri app's database, and the app never shows any of it — or the fact that you applied or were accepted — to families.

4. What this is not

  • Not a background check. Kalvri does not contact any registry, licensing board, court or former employer to verify what you say, and does not obtain a consumer report about you. Kalvri is not a consumer reporting agency.
  • Not verification. Being accepted is never shown to families as a badge, a tier or a line of any kind. Every suggestion on Kalvri says, verbatim, that the person is not vetted by Kalvri.
  • Not a job application to Kalvri. Kalvri does not employ caregivers. Families engage you directly, and Kalvri is not a party to that engagement. Kalvri never charges caregivers — not to apply, not to join, not ever.

5. References

The people you list are not Kalvri users. We may contact them about you and for nothing else. By listing someone you confirm that they have agreed to be contacted.

6. How long we keep it

  • While your application is being considered, and then for twelve months after the decision, so we can answer a question about it. Then it is deleted from the sheet and the mailbox.
  • If you join Kalvri, we keep it for the life of your account and delete it when your account is deleted.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your application at any time by writing to privacy@kalvri.com. Because it lives in Google's systems rather than our database, we do this by hand and confirm by email, within 45 days. Deleting a pending application withdraws it. The privacy rights our Privacy Policy describes apply to it too.
