The agreement that governs your use of Kalvri.
Last updated: May 24, 2026. Please read carefully — your use of the Service is conditioned on accepting these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Marketplace Agreement, and the Arbitration Agreement.
1. What Kalvri is
Kalvri Care (“Kalvri”, “we”, “us”) provides a software platform that helps family caregivers coordinate medication-related tasks with trusted helpers, find and interview verified professional caregivers (“Pros”), and document the work that gets done. We are not a staffing agency, a home care agency, an employer of any caregiver, a medical provider, a pharmacy, or a money transmitter. Kalvri does not provide medical advice, prescribe, dispense, or replace your pharmacy or clinician.
2. Who can use Kalvri
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information at signup and keep it current. If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
3. Your account and security
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud, abuse, or other harm.
4. The marketplace
The Caregiver Pro marketplace is governed by the Marketplace Agreement. Pros also accept the Independent Contractor Agreement. Families accept the Family Acknowledgment before posting their first job. Kalvri is not a party to any agreement between a Family and a Pro.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Kalvri does not hold customer funds. Payment for shifts is processed by our payment partner (Stripe Connect Express in production). Tax withholding and W-2 issuance, when elected, are performed by a third-party payroll partner who is the W-2 issuer; Kalvri is never the employer of record.
Subscription billing. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month at the rate shown at signup. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months, except where required by law.
Discharge Setup. The one-time Discharge Setup fee is non-refundable once concierge work has begun. You may request a full refund before work begins; contact support@kalvri.care.
6. Acceptable use
- No discrimination, harassment, threats, or impersonation.
- No misrepresenting your credentials, identity, or experience.
- No collecting personal information about other users beyond what’s necessary for a current engagement.
- No using helper tokens to circumvent caregiver permissions or to access information outside the token’s scope.
- No coordinating care that would require a licensed clinician — we don’t dispense, diagnose, or prescribe.
- No using Kalvri to pick up, deliver, or otherwise handle controlled substances. This is explicitly out of scope.
- No off-platform payment for tasks initiated through Kalvri — this protects both parties’ evidence trail.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available”. Kalvri makes no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability, safety, or suitability of any Pro, Family, helper, or task carried out through the Service. You use Kalvri at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalvri’s aggregate liability to you under or related to these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Kalvri in subscription fees in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD. Kalvri is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — even if foreseeable.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalvri, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from any claim arising from your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Mandatory arbitration; class action waiver
Disputes between you and Kalvri are resolved through individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). You and Kalvri each waive the right to bring or participate in class, collective, or representative actions, including PAGA representative claims to the maximum extent permitted by law. A new user may opt out of the arbitration clause within 30 days of creating an account by following the procedure in the Arbitration Agreement. Opting out has no other consequence for your account.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app and via email to the account owner at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms. Governing law is Delaware (placeholder; counsel-reviewed at production).
